Road to MASS. 2009

My first official post into the world of blogging. interesting. I think the time is right to begin this as I have so much going on that this will enable me keep everyone in the know.

For starters, I recently earned professional status at the 2008 INBF HErcules Bodybuilding Championships. Since 2003 I have been focused on competing as a light heavyweight. For some reason, this is where I felt I belonged according to my height/ weight ratio. I always came in ripped but always missed my peak by a day or so. After taking a 2 year break from competing I decided to compete as a heavy weight in the 08 Hercules, weighing in at 194 the morning of. As a result of the heavier weight I came in fuller, harder and razor sharp to win my class and earn the title of WNBF pro.

<< rewind to June 2003
Many of you know me from my appearance on the Mtv True Life Episode " I Want the Perfect Body". It was preperation for the Hercules 2003 in which Mtv followed me around for 4 months documenting my training, eating, cooking etc;. The episode is one of, if not the most watched episodes to date. And judging by how often it gets aired the execs at Mtv love it as well. :)

>back to Monday February 23, 2009.
After my recent win at the same exact competition i placed 3rd in while Mtv was filming me I reached out to Mtv explaining my win and recent accomplishments within the fitness industry they seemed excited but never showed interest in a follow up with me as a now WNBF Pro.
So, I am taking it upon myself to produce a documentary as I prepare for my first year as a pro, titled "Road To MASS". The first pro competition in 2009 is the WNBF Pro American Championships held in Marlborough Massachusetts which is what my focus is on now.

So, through all that rambling I hope you got caught up with some of my whereabouts, check back for more frequent updates. Thank you!
